A talk by Lewis H. Lapham, editor of the new Lapham's Quarterly,
host of the radio program The World in Time, longtime editor and now national correspondent and
contributor to Harper's magazine, as well as the author of several books, including Theater of War and Money and Class in America.

The Wood Engraver's Art
Join local wood engraving luminaries Gaylord Schanilec,
William Myers, and Joanne Price for a show-and-tell of their recent work and
a world tour of their favorite wood engraving masters. A visit to the Elmer L. Andersen Library at the U of M to view examples by master woodcarvers, from Archives and Special Collections, will follow the workshop.
